There is an abundance of resources in the community that can educate and inform families about early childhood. We update things that are happening around the community and will post resources that relate to early childhood and your family. In addition to events going on around the community, we also have four major events throughout the year for families to learn and get to know one another:
Fall Fest: Our annual Fall Fest is a celebration of the change of the season, usually at the beginning of November. We put together a pot-luck style party where families and teachers can interact and get to know one another.
Kindergarten Readiness Night: We invite parents to come and learn about all things Kindergarten: when and where to start looking, how to prepare your child, and what to expect when you get there. We usually have speakers with various backgrounds come in to present.
Spring Fling: Our Spring Party celebrates Family Flex's birthday in April. We hold an ice cream social where families can come and enjoy the beautiful Spring weather with families, teachers, and friends.
Preschool Information Session: Learn all about what your child will be doing when they get into preschool. We will discuss our curriculum, what children learn, and how they learn it while they are in preschool. This is an opportunity for families to meet their teachers in the preschool program and to take a tour of the classrooms.
