Family Flex is a fun, energetic, and forward-thinking year-round early learning center serving Denver metro families. We are a play-based program that focuses on child-led curriculum.  We are seeking ECT qualified early childhood educators to join our team! 

We currently have 8:30a-5:30p, 9a-6p & 9:30-6:30p shifts currently available as well as substitute opportunities.

  • Toddler Teacher

  • Preschool Float (would need to be school-wide float at times)

  • Preschool Teacher

 Family Flex offers competitive compensation and a well-rounded benefits package including paying for 50% health insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off which begins to accrue at 60 days.

Starting pay is dependent on level of education and documented years of experience working with young children.

 We are located within walking distance of downtown and two blocks from the Broadway bus route in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood


  • Develop and write lesson plans in accordance with Teaching Strategies Gold based on children’s interests

  • Plan with co-teacher how to support the individual needs of all children in the classroom

  • Conduct 2 parent conferences per year, guided by Teaching Strategies Gold assessment tools

  • Interact with the children to encourage exploration and learning through play

  • Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues

  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and trainings

  • Design an age-appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of
    the children

  • Comply with Family Flex standards and policies


  • Early Childhood Teacher qualified in accordance with Colorado state regulations (PDIS Level 3+ required)

  • Experience working with young children (infants to five-year-olds)

  • Demonstrated leadership and professionalism in the classroom

  • Bachelor's, Associate's, or CDA with emphasis in Early Childhood Education or related field

  • Established skills in teamwork and co-teaching

  • Understanding of play-based curriculum and project approach

  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to respond immediately to emergency situations

  • Success at being an intentional teacher with children

  • Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds

 Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Starting Salary: $15.00+ depending on verified education and related experience.
